4th Street's roster of foodie favorites continues to grow. Funky Sweets, which opened back in May, is serving up a variety of treats including mini doughnuts, Working Cow Ice Cream, and funnel cakes. The interior of the doughnut shop has a true 70s feel to it. If you are so inclined, you can dress up in your favorite 70s-inspired outfit on Fridays for a 15% discount on your fried/frozen indulgence. Before you leave, Ron Burgundy is placed prominently at the entrance to remind you to "Stay classy."

Nothing in the shop is pre-made. They fry it as you order it. Owner Spencer Hall isn't looking to make you something that looks fancy, his mission is to serve you food that will melt in your mouth. Items like the Triple Decker Funnel Cake (pictured below), Cotton Candy Mini Doughnut Sundae (pictured above) and the Funky Sundae (15 mini donuts with scoops of double fudge brownie and Sponge Bob cookie dough ice cream) are few of the options that ravenous customers have to choose from. Funky Sweets is also working on adding fried Oreos and Twinkies to the mix in the future.
If you're in need of some summertime comfort food that will make you feel like a kid again, you need to visit this shop soon. You can pick up a six pack of mini doughnuts for $3.50, 15 for $6.25, 35 for $13.50 and a whopping 60 for $25.50. Click HERE for a full look at their menu and prices.
