Our I Love the Burg historian, Monica Kile, will take her show on the road this November with a series of trolley tours of St. Pete neighborhoods. Explore the city on a series of new history trolley tours aboard the stunning Star Trolley.
St. Petersburg is more than our dynamic downtown. It’s a city of fantastically unique neighborhoods, each with its own flavor and flair. During the pandemic lockdown, many of us explored these neighborhoods virtually with Monica; now’s your chance to join her for the real thing! Get your trolley tour tickets here.
Here’s what you need to know:
Our next set of tours will run on two Sundays in November. Pick and choose tour dates based on your availability and interest. Each tour will include at least one stop where guests will exit the trolley to briefly visit a notable location or landmark.
Tours are $50 per person and include complimentary water and discounted drinks from our partner, Kahwa Coffee. Each of our trolley tours will be limited to only 28 guests. There are only a limited number of tickets left for each tour!
Experience St. Pete’s history in a whole new way
Guests will travel on the picturesque Star Trolley to explore the mysterious Driftwood and the hidden Lang Court. You’ll learn the story of historically African-American main streets like 22nd Street South in the Deuces, and see how the interstate and baseball stadium disrupted life in the Gas Plant district. Monica will show us the stone mansions of Allendale, the Mounds at Maximo, and the city’s first synagogue.
