Uptown favorite Flatbread & Butter unveils major expansion

Grape news in Uptown St. Pete: a new wine room is in the neighborhood, as one of our favorite spots for wine and pizza unveiled a huge expansion. Flatbread & Butter shared the news earlier this month, announcing that they have taken over the space next door to them and are expanding their café and restaurant significantly.

The move almost doubles Flatbread & Butter’s footprint by adding a wine room next door to the current café. Additionally, the expanded space will create more room for the kitchen and storage, so they plan to update the menu and expand offerings soon now that the renovation is complete.

The expansion connects the current café to the new space, creating the wine room and adding tons of additional seating in the process. The new room is open daily with the same hours as Flatbread & Butter, making it an excellent spot for coffee and reading, or pizza and wine drinking. It is also available for reservation and for rent for large and private parties.

For those who haven’t been, Flatbread & Butter is truly a St. Pete gem, located at 497 7th Avenue North. By day, stop in for lovely lattes, hefty breakfast sandwiches and burritos, or weekend brunch. By night, pizza and wine take center stage, with one of the city’s most underrated pizzas and an incredible wine list (with knowledgeable staff to help guide you).

From Flatbread & Butter: “The most important thing we have to say is none of this could be possible without you incredible people supporting us through the years, because of y’all we get to do cool things like this and we hope you like the space we’ve created for you.”
