If there’s anything St. Pete loves as much as food trucks, it’s knowing where to reliably find their favorites. For good news in that department, Nino’s Pizza Truck announced it is taking up permanent residency at The Brutalist Temple of Beer brewery and tap room, 1776 11th Avenue North.
Nino’s has been a family-run pizza business for more than 30 years, and Nino’s Pizza Truck is a St. Pete-based mobile hotspot that started serving its brick-oven pizzas in late 2021. The truck will be parked at The Brutalist (the former home of Flying Boat Brewing) every Wednesday-Saturday during the brewery’s operating hours. If you haven’t yet been to The Brutalist (from the minds of the crew behind Tampa’s King State), be sure to check them out for some of the best beers in town.

Nino’s Italian-style pizzas are all baked with fresh ingredients in the truck’s open-flame pizza oven, served up in half a dozen different styles. Nino’s also offers homemade focaccia bread, tiramisu, espresso, and Bruschetta alla Siciliana – a homemade flatbread topped with tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, and fresh garlic and herbs.
In addition to build-your-own pizzas, the initial menu includes options like spicy Italian sausage, veggie, classic margherita, meat lovers, and a white pizza. Of course, the truck will regularly rotate offerings, and has been praised for previous creations such as its Taormina Hawaiian pie and buffalo chicken pizza.
While we haven’t had a chance yet to try the pizza ourselves, reviews from locals offer promising insight for what to expect from Nino’s.

From one reviewer on facebook: “We just had pizza from Nino’s Pizza Truck here at the Madeira Beach KOA and it was amazing. We had a cheese, a pepperoni, and a Nino’s Combo all cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. Highly Recommended!”
Another satisfied reviewer said the filling pizzas were “covered with toppings and 🔥 roasted to perfection. The 4 of us ate half a pizza each for lunch saving the other half for dinner which fit our budget nicely! Thanks Nino, you are a pizza master!”
