St. Pete Golf Carts by WEPA Brands, LLC is a golf cart rental company in the Sunshine City with a planned launch date of April 19. Golf cart rentals are available by the day with rates at $200.
The locally owned and operated company offers rentals on a first-come, first-serve basis by call or email.

Know before you ride
Want to rent a golf cart? You must be at least 21 years old, and have a valid drivers license, credit or debit card, and an auto insurance policy. Any additional drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid drivers license.
Street legal golf carts are permitted to drive on any road that the speed limit is 35 mph or under. Carts are not permitted on the beaches, sidewalks, or bike paths. Additionally, carts are not permitted on 4th Street and MLK (9th Street), that runs through the middle of Saint Petersburg. However, 4th Street and MLK (9th Street) can be crossed at traffic lights.
The owners of the company have created safety guidelines that all renters should know:

- Do not operate vehicle on 4th Street and MLK (9th Street)
- Crossing 4th Street and MLK (9th Street) only at designated intersections (traffic Lights)
- Abiding by all traffic laws including seat belts and child safety seats
- Parking only in legally designated areas/spaces
- No reckless driving or driving under the influence of alcohol or substances
- No driving on beaches/sidewalks or bike paths
- No drivers under the age of 18
- Weight limit for 4 passenger carts is 800 pounds maximum
- Do not go on any road that has a speed limit over 35 mph
- Stay within 3.5 miles from Downtown Saint Petersburg!
- All reservations and payments are non-refundable.
Rentals begins April 19
