Vanchetta is one of the most popular food trucks in the ‘Burg. Pre-pandemic, you could find it popping up at events all over the city, including Tampa Bay Rowdies matches. The owners have been on the hunt for a brick and mortar location for a while, and they’ve finally settled on a location.
No, it’s not a stand alone space. Instead, Vanchetta is joining Cage Brewing to create a new food and beverage hub in the Grand Central District.

“Cage Brewing has allowed us to permanently set up shop in their backyard” Vanchetta wrote in a statement on Facebook. “It’s an excellent location adjacent to downtown St Pete and the highway for everyone who wants to come and visit. If you aren’t a beer drinker they have soft drinks, bottled water, wine, kombucha and more for sale.”
Outdoor dining is already prevalent in the Sunshine City, but it’s certain to now be an integral part of the dining experience globally for years to come.
“We built a dining area in Cage Brewing’s backyard. Between them and us we have a massive outdoor seating capacity, tables spaced 8 feet apart from each other.”
The owners estimate that it’s the most outdoor, socially distanced seating capacity in the downtown area. In addition to this, Vanchetta’s food truck-style of service allows for minimal contact with staff and others.
Vanchetta is excited to begin expanding its menu with a more kitchen space and a permanent location to operate out of.
Keep up with the latest menu updates by following Vanchetta on Facebook and Instagram.
For now their hours are Weds-Fri 5-10pm, Sat-Sun 2-10pm. Mon-Tue Closed. Cage Brewing is located at 2001 1st Ave S, St Pete.
