Florida Fall is officially here! It may still feel like iced coffee weather outside, but that won’t stop us from getting excited about all of the family and kid friendly events and fall activities that the Burg has to offer.

St. Pete Pier Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch

Your northern friends may be picking apples and drinking hot cocoa, but can they say they’ve been to an oceanfront pumpkin patch? Spend the weekend enjoying live music, shopping at the the artisanal market, snacking on on seasonal treats, and watching the kids have a blast with games, face painting, bounce houses, and more.
When: October 12-13, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Autumn Harvest Festival at Boyd Hill

Get ready for autumn harvest with fall-themed fun, live music, and a journey through history at the Pinellas Pioneer Settlement in Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. This fall fun day is full of activities for families to enjoy. Expect hay rides, delicious food, educational tours, and arts and crafts! Save the date for Saturday, October 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Gallagher’s Pumpkin Patch

Gallagher’s Pumpkin Patch is a classic St. Pete fall destination, offering a variety of stunning and unusual pumpkins, fall snacks, bounce houses, and even a petting zoo! Bring your kids here for a few hours of fall fun, and don’t forget to let them pick their very own pumpkin before you leave. It’s the perfect spot for family photos and creating lasting memories.

Trick or Treat in the Old Northeast

The Old Northeast neighborhood is known for its incredible homes and festive Halloween spirit. On Halloween night, families can enjoy a safe environment for trick-or-treating, with many houses going all out with decorations and treats. It’s a fantastic way for kids to experience the joy of dressing up and collecting candy in a family-friendly community.

Halloween on Central

This lively street festival spans 22 blocks of Central Avenue in Downtown St. Pete, and features a range of activities for all ages. Experiences include costume contests, live music, and trick-or-treating at local businesses. Families can enjoy face painting, games, and fun photo ops. The festive atmosphere makes it a safe and entertaining environment for St. Pete kids to celebrate Halloween.
When: October 27, 2024, 12pm-5pm

Euclid St. Paul Haunted Hike

This guided hike through the haunted streets of the Euclid St. Paul neighborhood is designed to be spooky yet suitable for families. With interactive storytelling and friendly ghosts, it’s a great way for kids to enjoy the thrill of Halloween without the fright. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring flashlights! Event includes food trucks, face painting, fortune telling, and more! Tours leave every 15 minutes and are $7 per person.
