Horse & Jockey has been serving quintessential British pub fare since 1987 in South Pasadena. It’s also Pinellas County’s official Liverpool Supporters Club and they screen every game live.

The menu features crunchy fish and chips, curries, pies, Cornish pastries, bangers and mash, all made fresh and daily in-house. The lunch menu is served from 11am–2pm, and the dinner menu is served from 2pm–9pm.

“An absobloodylutely British pub”

This pub has 20 beers on tap, a full liquor bar, and plenty of TVs, which makes this restaurant perfect for catching big soccer matches. The restaurant regularly accommodates EPL, MLB, NFL, and NHL fans during the games. They will even open early if an EPL game has an early start time.

The restaurant’s commitment to being a place to eat, drink, and enjoy sports is the reason why one of the former regulars, Dexter Gabbard Jr., called this spot “an ‘absobloodylutely’ British pub”. And that seems as honest and proper an endorsement as any I’ve heard. Live performances and trivia nights regularly occur here, interspersed between the usual sports games.
