There’s something about cold beer and good food trucks. This Friday is National Food Truck Day, and it’s only appropriate that one of St. Pete’s favorite breweries is hosting a massive celebration. 3 Daughters Brewing, located at 222 22nd Street South, is throwing a food truck festival on Friday, June 30 from 6-10 pm.
What to know:
- Festival: Six different food trucks will be on hand dishing out specialties, with beer, wine, hard seltzer, sangria, and soft drinks available from the brewery.
- Admission: The festival is free to attend and open to all ages.
- When and where: Friday, June 30, 6-10 pm, 222 22nd Street South in the 3 Daughters Brewing beer garden.
- Details: Free parking is available at 3 Daughters or in the grass lot behind The Deuces Gallery, and food trucks are scheduled to begin serving at 6 pm (though some may be open sooner, and some are likely to serve past 10 pm).
More info:
- Food trucks: La Strada, Funnel Vision, Maggie on The Move, Johnny Nevada’s Tamales, and Flip’n Tasty will all be on hand, as well as the 3 Daughters kitchen.
- Live music: The Hillbilly Hellcats will perform on the main stage from 8-11 pm, free to attend.
We try not to play favorites, but this food truck lineup certainly includes some of the brightest stars in St. Pete’s food truck scene. La Strada has one of the best mobile pizzas you’ll find anywhere; Johnny Nevada’s is a breakout hit for tamales, tacos, wings and more; Maggie on The Move is a matriarch of the St. Pete food scene with her Mediterranean specialties; and Flip’n Tasty has some of the best Filipino food around, food truck or otherwise.
