St. Pete’s craft beer community has become one of the best in the country over the last decade, and one of its forerunners is celebrating a major milestone this weekend. 3 Daughters Brewing, which opened in December of 2013, is marking its 10th anniversary this weekend, and the brewery is hosting a fitting celebration on Saturday, December 9 from 11:30 am – midnight.

It’s hard to believe that just 10 years and a handful of months ago there wasn’t a single brewery in St. Pete, especially when you look at the proliferation of great spots throughout the “Gulp Coast.” But seemingly all at once, the city became a hot spot for craft beer as Green Bench Brewing, 3 Daughters Brewing, and Cycle Brewing all opened within the span of a few months in the second half of 2013.

Over the years, those early few and the dozens who have come since have all created their own personalities, developed followings, and consistently churned out some incredible beers. Among them, 3 Daughters Brewing has risen to great heights, becoming the busiest tasting room in the state of Florida, and consistently ranking as one of the tops in statewide sales among the many wonderful independent breweries in Florida, bringing even more renown to the local beer scene.

While beer is what gave the brewery its place in the statewide scene, it’s been the events and community involvement that helped 3 Daughters become a staple here in town. As such, it will be a fitting celebration this weekend as the brewery welcomes in tons of local food trucks, artists, makers, vendors and more as part of its 10th anniversary festivities.

The party starts with a free Yoga For A Cause class with Beach Town Yoga inside the brewery at 10 am, and then a gigantic food truck rally and local vendor market will fill the parking lot from 12-6 pm. In addition, the brewery says it will be releasing some of its original beers, plus live music all day and night, games, bouncy houses for kids, and much more. As with most 3 Daughters events, the 10th anniversary party is free and family-friendly.
