Downtown Hyatt Place Prepares for Fall Opening

Downtown Hyatt Place Prepares for Fall Opening

The rooftops of the Burg’s premier buildings are being activated. Plans are in the works to add a rooftop lounge at the Ponce de Leon Hotel, and 300 Central Avenue will soon offer a luxury rooftop experience, as well. Hyatt Place, part of The Kolter Group’s ONE St. Petersburg development on the block between 2nd Street and 1st Streets North/Central Avenue and 1st Avenue North, is the next in line to elevate the city’s entertainment game.

Hyatt Place should be complete by mid-September of this year. The concept includes 175 sleeping rooms, 5,500+ SF of event space, a restaurant, an oversized StayFit gym and a rooftop pool and bar.

Located in the heart of development downtown

In addition to guest amenities, Hyatt Place also features 4,600 SF of meeting space. Nestled in the heart of downtown. the hotel faces the forthcoming James Museum, and is right across the street from Craft Kafe’s second location, which should be open by the fall.

The entire ONE development broke ground ahead of schedule in 2015 due to the sale of a vast majority of ONE’s million dollar, high end units. Hyatt Place’s St. Pete location is sure to be filled with Sunshine City-inspired decorations. The developers want to make certain that the St. Pete location has its own identity, one that reflects the aesthetic and growth of our community.
