Who’s On First (119 1st Ave. N.) officially opened its doors on September 6, taking over the space previously occupied by Thirsty First. This vibrant new sports bar pays homage to the classic Abbott and Costello skit from 1938, with a colorful interior inspired by the neon hues of the Tampa Bay Rays’ new City Connect jerseys. Local artists, The Vitale Bros, have adorned the walls with stunning murals of vintage TVs, creating an eye-catching atmosphere—all completed in a lightning-fast seven-week turnaround since Thirsty First closed.
The owners of Who’s On First have also acquired the two properties next door. One will transform into Dublin Drop, a classic Irish bar, while the other will be called There Goes The Neighborhood, a bar designed by locals for locals. This spot will feature some of the few pool tables available downtown, making it a must-visit for enthusiasts.

Once completed, all three bars will be interconnected, allowing patrons to explore three distinct vibes without stepping outside. Each bar will offer its own unique menu, ensuring a diverse culinary experience for everyone.
Southern Cuban Fusion
Co-owner Billy Orfanakos describes Who’s On First as “Southern Cuban Fusion”, slinging dishes courtesy of Chef Rick Bolivar, who whips up indulgent chicken and waffles, Cuban sandwiches (and Cuban spring rolls), and popcorn chicken dressed in cilantro cream sauce, among many more mouthwatering options.
