Herb your enthusiasm for the 18th annual Herb Day, Saturday, May 4, 10am–4pm. The free event will be held at Traditions School of Herbal Studies in St. Pete (6340 Central Ave). While most of the venders and herbalists are local, the herbs are international. Prepare to be edified on various approaches to using herbs as food, medicine, beauty products, and more. Such products will also be available for purchase.
Bob Linde and Tricia Streit Perez of Traditions School of Herbal Studies will host the event at their new location. Functioning as both an apothecary and acupuncture clinic, Traditions offers a wide array of Western and Eastern herbalism classes such as medicine, tea, and tincture making, clinical Chinese herbalism, general herbal theory and legal and ethical uses of herbalism, and specialized classes that teach therapeutic approaches to severe chronic diseases.
