Tampa Bay International Carnival celebrates vibrant culture of the Caribbean

In partnership with the City of St. Petersburg, the Tampa Bay International Carnival celebrates the rich culture of the Caribbean on July 13 and July 14 from 10am-10pm both days. Attendees are invited to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and tastes of this extravaganza. Boasting live performances, energetic parades, stunning costumes, and cultural cuisines and drinks, this event is sure to punctuate your July festivities with vibrant memories.

The Tampa Bay International Carnival will take place at Albert Whitted Park (480 Bayshore Drive).

On Saturday, DJ Neko, DJ D-Nero, DJ Oscocity, Notch, Don Chezina and Desperadoes Steel Orchestra will all perform live. Sunday will feature the likes of Kes the Band, Inner Circle, and New Generation Steel Band. Sunday is also set to be the big parade and party day at the park.

Catalyst on the Deuces hosts Carnival-inspired afterparty

If you want to keep the party going, from July 12 – 13, The Catalyst (903 22nd St. S.) presents “Carnival Takeover”, featuring reggae, soca, and afro beats with special DJ guests, and stellar drink specials.

Some of the artists and DJs performing at The Tampa Bay International Carnival will also be performing at The Catalyst, says Catalyst co-owner Jason Bryant, making for a special after-party to keep the Carnival spirit alive all night.
