Here we grow again. In 2019, it was announced that the developers behind the popular Armature Works Food Hall would open something similar at Sundial in the space formerly occupied by Locale Market and FarmTable Cucina. Now, another heavy hitter in the Tampa Bay community is setting roots in the dynamic plaza. The minds behind Station House in the ‘Burg, and Hyde House in Tampa, are developing something special for the downtown entertainment hub.

The 8,300 square foot project will offer a dynamic mix of co-work and event space in a fun, vibrant lifestyle environment. The new addition at Sundial will be a hotbed for innovation, entrepreneurship, collaboration and community.

New co-work space debuting in the heart of downtown

“When I developed Sundial, I envisioned it being a hub for the community. A place where people could come to meet one another, work, eat, shop and play,” said Sundial Owner Bill Edwards. “This new project will be just that – an epicenter for business professionals to come together to work and an environment perfect for all kinds of events. We have a great deal of exciting things planned for 2020. The welcoming of this project and the addition of the food hall from the visionaries behind Armature Works will make Sundial the most unique shopping center in Tampa Bay and one of the most visited places in downtown St. Petersburg.”

“We are excited to be extending our brand into the Sundial project alongside the Edwards group and the partners behind the Armature Works brand,” said Steve Gianfilippo Founder of Gianco Companies, Station House, and Hyde House. “With all the exciting Food and Beverage changes planned onsite, the re-opening of the Pier district, and proximity to Beach Drive, we feel this annex location of Station House will offer our membership base and non-members another convenient location to work, play, and celebrate, via our shared office and events combo.  Our model thrives with the surroundings, so planted in the heart of Sundial, neighboring the creators of Armature Works, is a win-win for us.”

Should open before the end of 2020

The new concept will encompass the prime space on the second level of Sundial next to Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

The project will be completed in 2020. All of the Sundial tenants will remain open throughout construction.  More details about the project will be released in the near future.

Sundial St. Pete is located at 153 2nd Avenue North.
