St. Pete Mayor Kenneth T. Welch is launching the 2025 City Hall on Tour series with a dynamic community event at The Coliseum (535 4th Ave N) on Wednesday, March 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This family-friendly gathering is free and open to all residents, offering an opportunity to connect with city leaders while enjoying light refreshments.

The first stop in this year’s tour will introduce Sunrise St. Pete, a major new initiative backed by $160 million in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds from HUD. This program aims to tackle critical housing, infrastructure, and economic recovery needs. Residents will learn more about the initiative and have a say in how these funds are used to shape the city’s future.

Creating an open dialogue in St. Pete

City Hall on Tour takes local government beyond its usual walls, bringing city leadership directly to neighborhoods. Mayor Welch and his team—including department directors, law enforcement leaders, and key administrators—will be on hand to answer questions, listen to concerns, and discuss ideas with the community. These events create an open dialogue, ensuring that residents’ voices help guide the city’s direction.
