Tombolo Books

Tombolo Books in partnership with The Poynter Institute welcomes award-winning journalist Anne Hull back to her home state to celebrate her stunning coming-of-age memoir, Through the Groves.

Anne Hull’s Through the Groves, captures it all—the smells and sounds of a disappearing way of life, the secret rituals and rhythms of a doomed family, the casual racism of the rural South in the 1960s, and the suffocating expectations placed on girls and women.

Hull will be in conversation with Tampa Bay Times Copy Desk Chief and Books Critic, Colette Bancroft!

Please note, this is a ticketed event and will take place at THE POYNTER INSTITUTE, 801 3rd Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Tickets are available through the Tombolo Books website www.tombolobooks.com/ events
