Tentative Program
1. “The End of The World” In “The End of the World,” Jerry and Alisa, stationed in an underground missile silo, grapple with the weight of their responsibilities as they wait for the world-ending phone call. As they confront the existential questions surrounding their purpose and the power they wield, they must decide whether to fulfill their duty or seek a greater meaning in the face of impending destruction. This introspective and thought-provoking play explores themes of existentialism, morality, and the search for purpose amidst the backdrop of imminent catastrophe.

2. “Research and Destroy” In “Research & Destroy,” God tasks his two most trusted angels, Michael and Gabriel, with researching Earth to decide whether it should be destroyed. As they sift through the chaos and horrors of humanity, they uncover moments of goodness that give them hope, ultimately convincing God to spare Earth from destruction.

3. “New York 2098” “New York, 2098” follows two high school girls, Antoinette and Beth, trapped in a sinking Manhattan classroom. As they struggle to survive, they confront their differences and find a moment of connection in the face of impending doom, ultimately relying on each other for comfort and support. This gripping play explores themes of survival, friendship, and acceptance against the backdrop of a dystopian future where the once vibrant city of New York is slowly succumbing to environmental disaster.

4. “It’s The End of The World and We’re Not Going to Have Sex?” In “It’s the End of the World and We’re NOT Going to Have Sex?”, husband and wife Allen and Stephanie face the imminent threat of nuclear annihilation in their suburban home. As they grapple with the reality of their situation, their relationship is tested, secrets are revealed, and they ultimately find solace and connection in the face of impending doom. This darkly comedic play explores themes of love, forgiveness, and the absurdity of human behavior in the face of catastrophe, offering a poignant and humorous look at what truly matters when confronted with the end of the world.
