“The Dynamic History of St. Petersburg’s Marine Science Complex” Seminar

Dr. Peter Betzer, Founding Dean Emeritus of the College of Marine Science at University of South Florida (USF), will discuss what propelled him to create the marine science program at the college. As part of a free seminar to be held at First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, March 20 at 6 PM, he will also focus on why the program was needed at the time it was created and why it is important today to have this academic program in our own back yard.

This free seminar is part of the Beach Drive Forums, a series of conversations on thought-provoking topics, offered by First Presbyterian Church, 701 Beach Drive NE, St. Pete.
