The Studio 620 welcomes Potomac Theatre Project for a return engagement; in April 2023, the company gave two sold out performances of Howard Barker’s Scenes from an Execution. The company shows up this season with performances on Thursday April 11 and Friday April 12 at 7 PM, presenting Tom Stoppard’s Albert’s Bridge, coupled with the writer’s New Found Land. Albert’s Bridge was created for and presented by BBC Radio in the late 1960’s; New Found Land is a part of the writer’s Dirty Linen, a play for the stage.
Christopher Marshall takes on the role of Albert in Albert’s Bridge and Arthur in New Found Land. Other members of the company include local actors Jim Sorsenson, Don Walker, Jay Hoff, Catie Clark among others. Matt Cowley is the sound designer; Cheryl Faraone will direct.
Both pieces will be presented as semi-staged readings. Admission is free, donations are gratefully accepted.
Please RSVP in advance to ensure adequate seating is available.
