Liquid to Land: Discover St. Pete’s Waterfront History

July 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$40 – $45

The St. Petersburg Museum of History has partnered with the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center on the St. Pete Pier to present the City’s first Historic Boat Tour!

Join the Museum on July 20th, for the 2-hour monthly tour that will highlight the city’s waterfront history and land alterations that have shaped St. Petersburg’s downtown shoreline and culture over time.

Discover the history of St. Petersburg from the water – the good, the bad, and the funny. Find out how a cast of colorful characters turned a sleepy fishing village into a world-famous tourist destination, and learn what happened to the Tampa Bay ecosystem as a result. It’s the perfect blend of history, science, and beautiful waterfront views.

The tour will depart from the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center Eco-Tour dock across from the Museum of History in the City Marina and will travel along the waterfront from Snell Isle to Coquina Key.
