Explore Journalism’s Past, Present and Future — and Join the April 24 Community Conversation

April 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

To mark its 50th anniversary, Poynter, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing quality journalism and media literacy, presents “Moments of Truth: An Exploration of Journalism’s Past, Present, and Future,” a traveling pop-up exhibit on display April 21–30 at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.

Curated by Poynter’s MediaWise initiative, the exhibit traces journalism’s evolution and its role in defending democracy and fighting false information, featuring interactive activities, historical timelines and immersive storytelling.

Don’t miss the centerpiece of the exhibit: a free community conversation on April 24 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.). Enjoy a panel discussion led by journalism and digital media experts exploring the future of news and the power of a free press in today’s digital world.
