Discovering Hidden Worlds through Comics: an Evening with G. Neri @ Tombolo Books!

March 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

G. Neri, the Eisner finalist and Coretta Scott King honoring-winning author of YUMMY and CONCRETE COWBOY, likes to go where few dare, whether it’s the mean streets of Chicago’s Southside or the end of the world in Antarctica.

He uses comics to tell compelling stories for young people, and his latest graphic novel, SAFE PASSAGE and his unique hybrid, MY ANTARCTICA, are proof that comics can tell any kind of story in fresh and innovative ways. Join Neri as he talks about exploring these hidden worlds to bring people of all ages new stories they’ve never heard about.

Join us at the bookstore where Neri will discuss both of these fantastic graphic novels with the founder ofMahogany Kids Fine Arts Foundation, Kiva Williams! Let us know we will see you there. Please RSVP HERE via the link!
