Timely with Helene and Milton’s aftermath, we are called to discover new mindsets and habits that bolster hospitality humans in this ever-growing city. Grassroots Kava House (GR) is excited to host “Community Cultivators: A Panel Discussion with St. Pete’s Community Catalysts,” an event aimed at building connections and raising awareness of the vital role the hospitality industry plays in our community. The panel will focus how the community can support this industry while spotlighting Free Leadership’s efforts to promote civic engagement and social development. The event, benefiting the non-profit Free Leadership, will take place on November 18th from 6:30-9pm at GR’s upstairs location in St. Pete. Attendees will have the chance to engage with local industry leaders, ask questions, and learn how to support causes that directly benefit the hospitality sector. We will be raffling donated gift baskets sourced from local partners, offering free henna tattoos and light appetizers from Twisted Indian.

The fourth panelist will be chosen by the community through a nomination process on social media. Nominations for the panelist will be open from October 28th to Nov 4th on Instagram and Facebook.
Nomination Process:
- Nominate candidates via DM’ing @grassrootskava on Instagram & Facebook or email info@grassrootskavahouse.com between Oct 28th-Nov 4th
- Provide the name of your nominee and why they are a great fit
- Panelists should be advocates for the hospitality industry, feel-good leaders, and active community cultivators
- Grassroots Kava House and Free Leadership will review nominations and select a finalist which will be announced on November 6th
