3rd Annual Run for the Beaches 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

A run for the serious and the fun-loving! And…a 100-meter dash and special scavenger hunt for the Lil’ Turtles, ages 6-9.
This is a chip timed, straight out & back 5k, that starts just after sunrise as the early morning low tide exposes the wide, hard-packed shoreline of Treasure Island’s beautiful beaches. PERFECT for running! Chip timing will be managed by Southern Timing.
Proceeds will benefit environmental & sustainability initiatives specific to Treasures Island’s beautiful beaches, marine & beach wildlife rescue & rehab programs, beach clean-ups and educational initiatives focused on keeping our beaches safe and clean for all to enjoy – two-legged, four-legged, winged, and finned.
Can’t make it on the 2nd, a virtual option is available. Shirts and medals will be mailed to all registered virtual 5K participants.
