ABOUT MAGGI
Maggi Rose is a Mixed Media artist living and creating in Saint Petersburg, FL. She creates vibrant, multi-dimensional fantasy worlds, using a variety of methods such as collage, assemblage, mosaic, and wet and dry. She fabricates her works within multiple layers of resin so that the individual sections “float” within each piece, enhancing its overall depth and dimension. This process is similar to the multiplane animation introduced by Walt
Disney in as early as 1937 and is done in such a way that each work of art is a puzzle unto itself; with each layer in the puzzle becoming its own work of art. Using Mixed Media allows her to bring new dimension to her creative process, as there are no restrictions on medium or method.

Her work can best be described as Psychedelic Surrealism; influenced by the vibrant, colorful works of the psychedelic album art of the 60’s and 70’s, combined with the dream-like scenes, symbolic images and unusual perspectives of the Surrealist movement. The imagery is often whimsical; inspired by dreams, emotions and music. While the themes often speak to the tenuous balance of our mental, emotional and spiritual health as individuals.
By objectifying emotions and investigating the duality that develops through different interpretations, Maggi strives to expand the dynamic between audience and author. Her works directly respond to her surrounding environment and use everyday experiences to express her vision.

ABOUT NATHAN
At the age of eight, Heinze began studying under the late Helen Carkin, a renowned batik artist. Throughout high school and college he won various art awards and interned at Pittard Sullivan, one of Hollywood’s top broadcast graphic design houses. He helped designed set pieces for TNT and NBC and storyboarded commercials for large corporate clients. After that, Heinze was the illustrator for York Publishing before working on projects for Disney, the NBA, Oracle, Simon & Schuster, Cosmos-Maya Studios, Applewood Books, Arcadia Publishing, and more. In 2021 Heinze pivoted to fine art and is focused on creating paintings that capture a feeling of mystery, beauty, and melancholy. His work can be found in several Tampa area galleries.
