Al Downing Honors, hosted by Mrs. Dierdre Downing-Jackson, pays tribute to some of Tampa Bay’s most distinguished present and pass jazz legends, those who have made an impact as jazz musicians, jazz educators, and jazz supporters. The Al Downing AllStars will perform in celebration of the legacy of Al Downing (1916-2000), jazz music icon and champion of jazz education.
