The 33rd Annual Suncoast Kingfish Classic returns April 9–11, 2026 at SkyBeach Resort in St. Petersburg, bringing together anglers, supporters, and the community for a weekend of fun, connection, and impact.
More than just a fishing tournament, this signature event blends competition with community experiences, all benefiting Ready for Life and helping local young adults aging out of foster care build stable, independent futures.
Thursday, April 9 – Captain’s Party Kickoff
The weekend begins with the Captain’s Party from 6:00–9:00 PM at SkyBeach Resort. Enjoy a complimentary dinner, live music, vendors, raffles, and the official reading of tournament rules as teams and supporters gather to kick off the excitement.
Saturday, April 11 – Tournament Day & Weigh-In
Tournament day brings the action on the water, followed by the highly anticipated weigh-in starting at 3:00 PM. Spectators can enjoy live music, vendors, raffles, and the excitement of seeing the biggest catches come in. It’s a full afternoon of energy, community, and celebration.
