Make A Difference Fishing Tournament, Inc. is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization, IRS # 59-3587905. Our organization is dedicated to helping children with disabilities through fishing tournaments and marine education.
We also have a grant program to help the children and their families by funding equipment and therapies that make their lives better. We have provided over $525,000.00 in grants since 2006.
We have no paid staff and are a totally volunteer organization. We started in 1995 and have been able to help thousands of children and their families thanks to the generous contributions of donors and our great volunteers.
Our 29th Casino Night Auction/Benefit will be held Saturday August 17, 2024 at the Clearwater Beach Hilton. Hundreds of people attend this event to support our cause and have a good time. Our silent and live auctions feature a variety of items, including assorted gift baskets, fishing charters, hotel stays, trips, gourmet dinner parties and so much more. The food for this event is donated by BayStar Restaurant Group, Clear Sky Cafe, Hog Island Fish Camp Seafood Restaurant, Capogna’s Dugout and Hooters.
