In honor of a former mayor who referred to his citizens as “burgers” (as in St. Petersburgers), the Good ‘Burger Awards were established to honor large and small business owners, and community leaders who contribute in a positive way to make St. Pete the special town it is.
Now in it’s 12th year, the 2024 Good ‘Burger Awards will focus on honoring the individuals and organizations that went above and beyond to support the community during recent storms. The hurricanes tested our strength, but the way our neighbors, businesses, and organizations came together is something we feel needs to be recognized. So instead of rescheduling, we’re simply changing the programming.
Here’s what’s changing this year:
- We will focus on honoring the individuals and organizations that went above and beyond to support the community during the recent hurricanes.
- Any businesses that were nominated in a category will automatically win an award.
- All first responders are invited to attend at no charge.
- We’re going to reassemble and have a good time. Because we’re all Good St. Petersburgers.
We hope you’ll join us on November 13 at the Floridian from 5 – 8 pm for our “We’re All Good ‘Burgers” party celebrating resiliency through music, food, drinks, and a good time.
