This weekend, you can take the pitch before the Rowdies do, and just like the team, you’ll get a nice stretch in pre-game. The Body Electric Yoga Company and the Tampa Bay Rowdies are hosting their annual yoga night at Al Lang Stadium this Saturday, May 6, at 4:30 pm.

Of course, it’s more than just yoga. Following the class, yogis will join The BE for a rowdy tailgate outside the stadium, followed by the match against Phoenix Rising FC at 7:30 pm. Tickets to yoga night also include tickets to the game, where you’ll be sitting together and cheering on the Rowdies with fellow yogis.

If you haven’t been before, it’s a truly enjoyable experience, taking to the massive waterfront field for a full yoga class under the evening sun. This, along with their annual yoga class in the outfield at Tropicana Field, are two of The BE’s must-try events, especially (but not exclusively) for sports lovers.

Check in for yoga is at 4:30 at Gate 6 across from The Hilton, and class begins at 5 led by Chris Wilkinson. The session runs until 5:45, followed by a BYOB tailgate break outside the stadium, and then the Rowdies game at 7:30. Attendees will need to bring their own mat and water for the class. Tickets for yoga night with the Rowdies are $30, which includes yoga, tailgating, and a reserved seat at the game.

For more opportunities to get your stretch on in fun locales, don’t miss The BE’s free yoga classes on the St. Pete Pier, weekly yoga classes by The Hollander Hotel pool, or the always popular 108 Summer Salutations at Cage Brewing this June.
