A huge Cinco de Mayo block party is taking over downtown St. Pete

People at a Cinco De Mayo party

Get your party hats ready – the biggest Cinco de Mayo party in Tampa Bay is taking over downtown St. Pete this year. Jointly hosted by The Avenue and Park & Rec, “Fiesta St. Pete” is bringing a gigantic block party to 1st Avenue South on Saturday, May 4 from 1 pm to 3 am at 330 1st Avenue South.

An annual celebration, Fiesta St. Pete will be a sprawling extravaganza taking over the entire block, indoors and out. Festivities feature incredible food trucks, live mariachi bands, drink specials, micro wrestling, live DJ sets, giveaways, and much more. GA tickets are $20, which earn access to the entire event, while VIP tickets also give guests access to a private bar, private bathrooms, an exclusive wrestling viewing area, and a free raffle ticket entry. Bottle service is also available.

Naturally, the food and drink specials will showcase the best of Mexican fare. From Patron and Cazadores to Los Sundays, Corona, Modelo and more, there will be an abundance of tequila, Mexican beer, hard seltzers, and more. The food trucks will be dishing up a flavorful variety of tacos, empanadas, tamales and much more, including plenty of salsa, queso, burritos, and all the usual culinary favorites.

Micro Wrestling Warriors will be the main attraction on stage, as the high-flying micro wrestling show brings its wildly popular act outdoors. The show starts at 8 pm and is included with admission to Fiesta St. Pete.

Fiesta St. Pete is 21+ only, and themed attire is always welcome. Tickets are available at the door, though online advance orders will get more expedient entry. The annual block party is a downtown favorite, and it’s one of the biggest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the area.
