The story of Tuskegee Airmen Nurses, some of whom were initially stopped from serving their country in World War II, will be explored at First Presbyterian Church’s Beach Drive Forum on Wednesday, October 18. Compiled for the first time, the recollections of United States Army Nurses who served alongside the famous Tuskegee Airmen will be told by the daughter of one of these heroic women, author and journalist, Pia Jordan.
The seminar, to be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, October 18 in the Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church, 701 Beach Dr. NE, St. Pete, is free and open to the public.
