Zipperz Bar opens in Gulfport, bringing dancing and laid-back vibes to the neighborhood

A new bar in Gulfport is promising good vibes all day and night inside its refurbished new lounge. Zipperz Bar officially opened this week at 4918 22nd Avenue South, showcasing a massive dance floor, a lengthy bar, regular drink specials, and plenty of games.

The LGBTQ+ owned and friendly bar is open daily from 10 am – 2:30 am. By day, Zipperz is a laid-back bar with plenty of bar seating, good music, and a variety of games to play such as pool, and skee ball. By night, the bar turns into a nightclub with DJs, performers, dancing, and late night entertainment.

At all hours, Zipperz promises to be “a really fun, welcoming place for our LGBT Community, along with our Allies and Locals who visit us.” As a nod to other celebrated bars, the weekly specials include Thursday night tea parties in honor of Georgie’s Alibi, and 32-oz rum punches on Sunday as an homage to The Flamingo.
