Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, located at 1101 Country Club Way S, has reopened following Hurricane Milton, but cleanup efforts are still underway. The preserve is seeking volunteers to help clear debris from the trails and Pioneer Settlement.

The Friends of Boyd Hill, St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation, and the Tampa Bay Estuary Program are teaming up for a community cleanup event on October 26 from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and bring work gloves and rakes if available. As a token of appreciation, all volunteers will receive a free lunch.
