Get ready for the final event of the month celebrating the 5th Year Anniversary of I Love the Burg! In the spirit of community, friendship and fun, this will be an exciting day of friendly competition. Join us on Saturday, May 31, 3pm at 3 Daughters Brewing 222 22nd Street South, St. Pete. For $20 per team of 2, you can register (at the bottom) to compete in the games. Or come for free and simply be a spectator, cheerleader or drink some good beer to celebrate Burg is the Word Month! Players enter to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the championship games of miniature golf, corn hole and table shuffle board.

Corn Hole Tournament (SOLD OUT)

 

16 teams of 2 will compete. The first team to reach 15 points is the winner. If a bean bag lands on the platform it will count as 2 points. If any part of the bag is touching the ground off of the platform then it does not count. If the the bean bag goes through the hole it will count as 3 points. Each cornhole set (2 in total) will have a bracket of 8 teams. The two winning teams from both brackets will compete in a championship round to 21 points. The two runners up from both brackets will compete in a game to 21 for 3rd place. 

 

Table Shuffleboard

 

16 teams of 2 compete against one another. Games are played to 7 points with a 15 minute time limit for each game. If neither team reaches 7 points after 15 minutes the team with the highest score advances. Each Table will have a separate bracket of teams. There are 16 Teams per bracket, with the final winner from both tables competing in a championship round with game played to 21 points. The 2 runners up from both brackets will compete in a game to 21 points for 3rd place. 

 

Miniature Golf/Putt-Putt Tournament

 

The tournament will consist of 10 teams of 2 players. 2 teams will play in a foursome. Group 1 will begin on hole 1, Group 2 on hole 4, Group 3 on hole 8, Group 4 on hole 12 and Group 5 on hole 16. Opposing teams will score one another. Each group will play through the entire course until they arrive back at the hole they originally started on. The team with the lowest cumalitive score per group will advance to a 5 team playoff consisting of 9 holes. Teams will select one player per pair to compete in the playoff. Volunteers will score the playoff. 
 

Prizes are 1st Place: $100 3 Daughters gift card, 2nd place: $50 3 Daughters gift card, 3rd Place: $25 gift card. Additional prizes may be added.

 

Keep in mind this is a night of FUN and FRIENDLY competition. 

 

A Burg Spirit Award will be given to the team that exhibits the most pride in uniform and sportsmanship. Get creative with your team names and jerseys!
