Zen Glass Studio is a locally-owned and operated glassblowing studio and gallery in the Warehouse Arts District of St. Petersburg. The gorgeous studio was founded by glass artists David Walker and Joshua Michael Poll. In addition to crafting custom pieces for area businesses, and stocking up the kaleidoscopic shop, both David and Josh teach glassblowing classes and workshops at the studio daily.

Ready to learn the craft of glassblowing in St. Pete?

At Zen Glass Studio, you can make-your-own glass piece to take home with you as a souvenir. Wine glasses, pint glasses, glass pendants, paperweights, glass ornaments and more can easily be created in their Warehouse Arts District studio.

Learn from the best glassblowers in the ‘Burg at Zen Glass Studio

Under the guidance of a skilled teacher (more than likely David or Josh) you will learn how to create a unique glass art piece using professional tools and materials. You pick the colors and sometimes styles, stand in for a demonstration and then are turned loose. Once your glass masterpiece is finished it goes into the annealer to cure overnight and then is ready for you to take home. Good news, Zen Glass Studio ships, too.

If you’re totally new to glassblowing, you have nothing to worry about. These classes are designed to engage you whether you’re a novice or a seasoned artist. More than anything else, though, these workshops feel so unique to the Sunshine City. They are laid back, interactive, and something outside the norm. As we all begin to enjoy getting back to getting out, a workshop at Zen Glass may be your next go-to activity.
