The beautiful people of Central’s 1800 block are hosting Downtown St. Pete‘s first annual Urban Burg Oktoberfest.
Local favorites The Burg Bar & Grill, Hideaway Cafe and Urban Brew & BBQ are closing off their section of Central, from noon to 5pm Saturday, for a good, new-fashioned Oktoberfest, Burg-style.

The Burg Bar & Grill just recently won again this year’s Battle of the Burg(er) after competing with the Grand Central District’s favorite restaurants. Their decadent entry was a double grilled cheese burger! Definitely heart-stopping. We think this may be a great pair with a good brew, that’s for sure!
Under the shade of the overpass, they’ll load an outdoor stage with the Burg’s finest musicians, hand selected by the keen ears of the Hideaway Cafe including TC Carr, the Betty Fox Band, and Kasondra Rose and the Sleepless. Traditional, authentic German fare will be served, as well as the most important element: locally-brewed craft beers, like Tampa Bay Old Elephant Foot, Florida Ave Betchy Brown and Big Sound Wavemaker.
Admission is free, beer and food tickets are reasonable, and the music will be outstanding!
