After a few delays Rocket Fizz is officially open at 668 Central Avenue. The sprawling candy shop its known for offering a wide swath of weird and wild candies you won’t find just about anywhere else. Pickle Soda, Dirty Dishwasher Jelly Beans, candy hot dogs, crab-flavored hard candies, giant sour watermelon slices and more are on the shelves here. The shop would make Willy Wonka blush.

Rocket Fizz has hundreds of locations across the country. The shop boasts one of the biggest candy selections in the world, so whether your like your candy sour or sweet, you’ll find something you love.

It’s basically Cloud 9 for your sweet tooth. The soda pop and candy shop has basically every candy you’ve ever loved, and a litany of sweet and sour treats you never knew existed.

Butter soda, bacon lip balm, individually wrapped fried chicken candies, and beer taffy are all available. Don’t worry, you can get the old familiars too. We’re talking about Twix, Milky Way bars, Kit Kats, M&Ms, and Milk Duds.

Tentative hours are 10am-9pm Monday through Saturday, and noon-6pm on Sunday.

Rocket Fizz is opening in the former Daddy Kool location. Daddy Kool has since moved to a new spot in the Warehouse Arts District, and will join the The Factory St. Pete with Black Crow Coffee in 2020.
