Major companies continue to take notice of the Sunshine City, and WeWork, a global network of workspaces, could be next.

The company specializes in crafting work environments tailored specifically to your company and community needs. WeWork’s packages include shared workspaces, office suites, private offices and standalone headquarters.

Their offices feature all of the amenities one would expect from an ultra chic workspace: micro-roasted coffee, strong WiFi, fresh fruit water, craft brews on draft, bike storage, front desk service, business-class printers and more. So yea, all of the things basically.

WeWork has a huge global presence

WeWork has offices in Argentina, Peru, Australia, South Korea, Singapore, Philly, New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Boulder and other major startup hubs across the globe.

Smart money would be the company is looking to leave its footprint in major Florida markets like Orlando, Miami and Tampa Bay.

Workspace could arrive at One Progress Plaza

We’ve heard rumors around town that a potential location for WeWork in the Burg would be at One Progress Plaza downtown. The organization said that they do have plans for an aggressive expansion into South Florida, but no specific cities can be confirmed at this time.

With so many startups launching in the Burg, it seems there’s ample room for more sleek spaces to help those companies flourish.

Would you like to see WeWork open in St. Pete?
