We can’t think of anything that sounds better than a Friday fiesta full of tacos and beer. Over 20 gourmet food trucks will be on hand serving up special South American Inspired dishes alongside their normal cuisine. Admission is free and pets are welcome! The first 300 guests will receive a free sombrero.

Full Moon Paddle Downtown

Artist Talk: Bekky Beukes
Join award-winning fine artist, muralist, and entrepreneur, Bekky Beukes in an in-depth discussion on fear, chaos and resistance. Beukes has exhibited in over 30 shows, received four awards and has been a published artist since 2015. With a signature style that is instantly recognizable her work is widely covered by local and national media from Creative Loafing and Tampa Bay Times to ‘The Penny Hoarder’, Oregons ‘Out of Steps’ books and New York’s ‘INSIGHT’ Magazine. Her most recent mural is located at Red Mesa Mercado + Greenbench on 1st St in St Pete. Space is limited. $10; $7 for members, $15 at the door.

METRO Youth Nights
Social gatherings designed for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-17. Metro staff members facilitate a safe, welcoming environment for all. Youth and young adults are welcome to make new friends, watch movies, play video games, and socialize throughout the evening. This fun running event will benefit Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital! The starting line for the 10k, 5k, and 1 mile fun run will be in front of the Hospital and will end at Poynter Park in downtown St. Petersburg where there will be a post-race celebration and award ceremony.

The Great Weedon Bird Quest
Embark on a quest to find Weedon Island Preserve birds! Learn the identifying marks and behaviors of the feathered year-round residents and seasonal visitors of the Preserve. A brief classroom session before the hike will introduce participants to the common birds found in our local area. This guided hike is designed to take advantage of all levels of birding experience so beginners are welcome.
