What brings a poem to an effective end? In this class with Eleanor Eichenbaum, participants will explore poems with particular attention to the last stanza or line and ask questions of the choices made to end each piece. Read and discuss selected poems and compose through generative exercises individually and as a group. Bring your questions, your struggles with particular poems you are writing, and your thoughts as a reader. Writers of other genres and visual artists are encouraged to attend.
