It’s the last weekend before Christmas in St. Petersburg! Here are the shopping events you need to hit, and the shows designed to help you relax before the hectic holiday.

Wordier Than Thou Presents Read No More: Haunted Holidays (Friday and Saturday)
Who knows what lurks behind closed doors? Tour a series of short, scary plays to learn about the history and hauntings of our Read No More: Haunted Holidays house. Attendees will tour a unique St. Petersburg home, where each room will feature a short scary play produced by teams of local writers and actors in this holiday twist on the classic haunted house. Tours at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm. Tickets are $14 in advance and $18 at the door. Groups of 8 or more can get a discounted rate of $12 per ticket and should email wordierthanthou@gmail.com to purchase tickets at the special rate. Up to 15 people per tour. Uncle John’s Band at The Palladium
Uncle John’s Band pays tribute to the legendary concert at Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Hall by the Grateful Dead on Dec. 19, 1973. UJB will present a song by song recreation of the show immortalized as the No. 1 Dick’s Pick – the series of recordings named for Dead archivist Dick Latvala. 8-11pm. Cosmic Dance: A Celebration of the Solstice/Equinox
