Treasure Island Lighted Boat Parade
This year’s dazzling nautical spectacle features boats of all kinds making it the biggest lighted boat parade in Tampa Bay. Boats will depart from The Club at Treasure Island at 6:20pm, sail past the Treasure Island Causeway Bridge at 7pm, and end at 8:15pm at John’s Pass. Happening around 400 Treasure Island Causeway.

St. Pete’s new indie bookshop officially opens this Saturday. Tombolo Books is the latest addition to the booming Grand Central District. Co-owners Alsace Walentine and Candice Anderson have worked tirelessly to bring this new book hub to the Sunshine City. Expect to find the most critically acclaimed contemporary titles on the shelves at Tombolo, in addition to local authors, and a solid Florida Fiction section. Annual Luminary Event in Historic Roser Park
This coming weekend, Roser Park will celebrate the beauty of their neighborhood with the Annual Luminary Event. On Saturday around 5pm, residents place bags with candles along both sides of the creek from the 6th Street bridge to the 8th Street bridge, then light them while it gets dark. Some long tables are set at the base of Prospect Court for food and drinks and socialization. Visitors can walk or drive along Roser Park Drive and see the candles reflected in the creek.
