St. Petersburg Ballet: The Nutcracker (All Weekend)
Suzanne Pomerantzeff is the director and chief choreographer for this timeless classic. Year in and year out, St. Petersburg Ballet Company’s production of The Nutcracker showcases future dancers/students of such world-renowned schools/companies as Juilliard, Boston Conservatory, Alvin Ailey, American Ballet Theater, Cirque du Soleil, Lord of the Dance, etc. Come watch tomorrow’s superstars of dance on the stage of our very own Hough Hall. There is a 100 percent chance of snowfall in North Straub Park on Saturday, Dec. 1, as the annual holiday Snowfest celebration begins from 10am until 3pm. There will be activities for all ages that include toboggan slides, art tent, karaoke, moonwalk, Kiddyland area designed specifically for preschoolers with inflatable train and more. Food truck concessions will be available. $5 for activities.
