It’s finally Labor Day Weekend. Obviously, Dorian could put a damper on some of these events. While we’re prepared for the worst, we also hope for the best. So, here’s a look at all the events going down this Labor Day weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida.

October 19 – Burn: Morean Street Party

Party on the street, in the heart of the eclectic Central Arts District of St. Petersburg, FL and feel the heat! Molten glass, street art and live music surrounds you as you interact with art and artists, sip craft cocktails and enjoy gourmet food. This is an official SHINE Mural Festival event. The event runs from 8pm-midnight on October 19. Special Shine tickets are $35 (and only available through August 31). Regular tickets are $50. Krew tickets are $100. Broadway Un-Bound at Cassis St. Pete

The bright lights of Broadway are coming to the Burg this Friday. Cassis St. Pete, the Beach Drive food gem, will serve as the venue for a few special performances. Five of the area’s finest comedic singers come together for an amazing salute to 70 years of Broadway song and dance. Performances at 6pm and 8pm. Reservations are recommended: 727-827-292. When making your reservation, please advise the host of show attendance. Cassis St. Pete, 170 Beach Drive NE. 

Stranger Things Season 3 Costume and Dance Party at The Bends

Come and experience The Bends as they transform it to the newly built Starcourt Mall from Hawkins, Indiana. Dance all night in the food court as The Shadow Run Brothers play through the Stranger Things soundtrack. 9pm-3am. No cover, but the event is 21+ only. The Bends, 919 1st Avenue North.

Daniela Soledade with the Nate Najar Trio Album Release Concert at Studio@620

The Studio@620 welcomes Daniela Soledade with the Nate Najar Trio as they launch their new collaborative release “A Moment of You”… and celebrate the birthdays of Nate and Daniela. 7:30-9:30pm. Tickets are $25. Studio@620, 620 1st Avenue South.

An Intimate Evening with Infinite Third at Grassroots Kava

Saturday, August 31

Summer of Rum Festival at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park

Yes, we know this is in Tampa, but it’s worth the trip. This event features a wide variety of different rum vendors with speciality cocktails. Sublime is set to perform live, too. It’s the best party of the Summer. The event runs from noon-11pm. Click HERE to purchase tickets. Julian B Lane Riverfront Park, 1001 North Boulevard.

GeckoFest in Downtown Gulfport

This year’s GeckoFest — a daylong street party — has the theme “Geckos of the Round Table” and all attendees are encouraged to get into the Camelot spirit. The event runs from 10am-10pm. Full event details can be found on the GeckoFest event page.

Yoga Poolside at The Hollander 

The Body Electric hosts a poolside yoga class every Saturday at The Hollander. All levels are welcome. 8:30-9:30am. $10 pre-registered, $15 at the door. The Hollander, 421 4th Avenue North.

Williams Park Summer Market 

Shop fresh local produce, handmade goods, art and more at the Williams Park Summer Market. The Saturday staple gathers your favorite food trucks and farmers for one delicious shopping event. 9am-1pm. Williams Park, 350 2nd Avenue North.

Boatstock at Flying Boat Brewing 

Get out and celebrate the second anniversary of Flying Boat Brewer. There will be live music and entertainment throughout the event. Runs from noon-midnight. Free to attend. Flying Boat Brewery, 1776 11th Avenue North.

Bacon and Beer Bash at 3 Daughters Brewing

Beer and bacon, what more do you need? 3 Daughters is holding a special bacon and beer bash on National Bacon Day. Maggie on the Move will be serving up bacon baklava, and a few other Tampa Bay food trucks will be in attendance serving up bacon-centric dishes. 1-6pm. 3 Daughters Brewing, 222 22nd Street South.

Tampa Bay Rowdies vs Nashville SC

Get ready for some Rowdies soccer, St. Pete. The green and gold warriors take on Nashville SC Saturday night. The game starts at 7:30pm. Click HERE for tickets. Al Lang Stadium, 230 1st Street Southeast.

The Mushroom Brotherhood at The Palladium

Mimosas and Masterpieces at The Dali

Cafe Gala invites you to start your week with Mimosas & Masterpieces, an artistic take on Sunday Fundays. Chef Chuck Bandel creates specialty items based on seasonal ingredients, so each week’s menu varies.  11am-2pm. The Dali Museum, 1 Dali Boulevard.

First Sunday Dog Wash at Pinellas Ale Works

Join Friends of Strays at Pinellas Ale Works on the first Sunday of every month for their Dog Wash. They give your dog a bath in the Beer Garden while you drink a delicious PAW beer. 12:30-3pm. Baths are $10 and all proceeds go to Friends of Strays. Pinellas Ale Works, 1962 1st Avenue South.

GLOW Party at The Crafty Squirrel
