FREE yoga at Sundial 

Head to the courtyard at Sundial St. Pete next Saturday, May 18 for a FREE yoga session hosted by The Body Electric Yoga Company. Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. and the class will begin at 9 a.m. Don’t forget to bring a towel, yoga mat and water bottle. Don’t worry, there will be a limited supply of free yoga mats to use during the class in case you don’t have one. please fill out the electronic form using the following registration link bit.ly/sundialyoga unless you have registered previously online for one of our past yoga sessions. Annual Fred Astaire Showcase at The Palladium
Head out to The Palladium for a 7pm ballroom showcase from students at The Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ Tampa Bay locations. This three-act show features both professional and amature ballroom dance numbers, similar to those performed on the hit TV show, “Dancing with the Stars.” This show features all ages and levels of students and professionals dancing to music from the 1950s through today’s hits. Florida Orchestra Rock Series Performs Michael Jackson at the Mahaffey
Head out to the Mahaffey Theatre at 8pm as acclaimed vocalist James Delisco performs Michael Jackson’s mega hits while Brent Havens conducts a full rock band and The Florida Orchestra for major hits like “Thriller, Man in the Mirror, Billie Jean, Beat it” and more! Body Electric to host Poolside Yoga at The Hollander
Join Body Electric for an off-site yoga class poolside at the landmark Hollander Hotel. This is a recurring event every Saturday morning where you can practice, swim and brunch starting at 8:30am. Salute the sun with a rotating cast of characters, and then cool off in the Hollander’s beautiful pool. All levels are welcome for this slow flow class and mats will be provided as needed. Stay for brunch or reserve a cabana and spend the day! Pre-register to save money, and to qualify for weekly raffle prizes. Family Days at the James Museum of Art
Make it a family day at the James Museum between 10am – 2pm. Enjoy story time in the galleries, guided tours that are tailored to engage both kids and adults, opportunitites to make art projects, as well as an ‘explore with the family activity guide.’ This week’s theme is Cowboy Culture. Paint a Flower on a Wine Glass at Florida CraftArt
If you want to spend time with your mom on Mother’s Day, check out Florida CraftArt’s class and learn how to paint a flower on a wine glass. 3 Daughter’s Brewing 1st Annual Poker Walk
Support a cause and try your hand at poker during the first annual Poker Walk sponsored by Team Tampa Bay Missions Inc. Registration is $10 and the event is slated to begin at 12:30pm at 3 Daughters Brewing. Proceeds will benefit Team Tampa Bay Missions for a trip to the Dominican Republic to provide the underserved population through the delivery of medical supplies, advice and services. Participants will go to several destinations to collect their poker hand. At the beginning of the walk, participants will be given a “scorecard” to carry with them throughout the event. At each stop, a card will be drawn from a deck of cards. The drawn card will be recorded on the participant’s scorecard by the volunteer.
