AIDS Walk Tampa Bay and Fun Run at Vinoy Park
By walking, running, donating or volunteering this year, you will help to provide much-needed resources to the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas, an HIV/AIDS organization now supporting members across the entire bay area. With your amazing support, our Tampa Bay community can make a real difference to the many people impacted by HIV/AIDS in our area. Registration opens at 8am, the opening ceremonies begin at 9am. The 13th Annual walk begins at 9:30am, the timed 5k run begins at 9:15am. It’s free to walk, but there are incentive prizes for those raising $35-$10,000. Friends of Strays Presents: Quest for the Emerald Paw
Help support one of our favorite local organizations, Friends of Strays, this Saturday! The non-profit hosts a special scavenger hunt spanning the Burg. Teams of four will begin their journey at 11am at the Friends of Strays Animal Shelter (2911 47th Avenue North). After they pick their team mascot, an adoptable animals from the shelter, they will follow clues that will lead them on a scavenger hunt to find the elusive Emerald Paw. The quest will finish at Cage Brewing (2001 1st Avenue South). Event runs from 11am-4pm. Cost is $100 for a team of 4 (humans only). Each team member will receive a t-shirt to wear during the quest and a drink ticket for the celebration party. 12th Annual Bad Santa Bar Crawl
Bad Santa Bar Crawl is the largest fundraising event that SPARK 5, Inc. hosts of it’s 3 annual fundraising events. The Bad Santa Bar Crawl is centered around the joys of the holiday, showcasing festive costumes while spreading merriment throughout the streets of downtown St. Pete. It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Play at American Stage Theatre
This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, and live, on-stage sound effects, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. 2016 Rotary Club of St. Pete Illuminated Boat Parade
Enjoy the holiday youth choir, food, beer, wine and live commentary from the grandstands at 500 BayShore Drive Northeast, where lighted boats enter the Vinoy Basin in one of the city’s most beautiful holiday traditions. Thousands of twinkling lights and festive decorations light up the boats as they circle Vinoy Basin. Begins at 6pm.

Shorecrest Elementary School Choir at Sundial St. Pete
The St. Pete community is full of great vocal talents, and the Sundial is thrilled to be able to share with you some of the youngest and brightest talents this holiday season. The holiday classics will come alive in the Sundial courtyard and will surely make your Sunday extra cheery. Chorus Angelorum at Museum of Fine Arts
Enjoy seasonal music from the Chorus Angelorum, premier a cappella vocal ensemble of male and female voices, formed in 2001 for the purpose of offering exceptional performances of vocal music throughout the Tampa Bay area. This appearance is by special arrangement for the Museum of Fine Arts. As an ensemble originally dedicated to the study and performance of Renaissance music, their repertoire expanded to include pieces from the Middle Ages to contemporary and popular styles as well as works from around the globe. 2-3pm. HONNA Candlelight Tour of Homes
Strolling the brick-lined streets of the Historic Old Northeast, visitors to the Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes can enjoy the opportunity to see up to eight festively decorated homes. This is an all-volunteer event including the homeowners plus tour guides and docents present in each venue, ready to relate historical and architectural details about the property. Guests may view the homes in any order they choose. There will be trolley service available to shuttle between the houses on the tour. Different architectural styles popular in the early 20th century can be seen throughout the neighborhood. Holiday decor and music add to the festive atmosphere. Red Rain: The Music of Peter Gabriel and Tori Amos at The Palladium
Red Rain is a collective of 15 accomplished musicians from the Tampa Bay Area and Los Angeles that have gathered to pay tribute to the music of Peter Gabriel and Tori Amos. Including many members of the locally acclaimed The Florida Björkestra and led by TFB creator Jeremy Douglass, Red Rain features lush arrangements, a powerful rhythm section and the stunning lead vocals of world-class singers Whitney James and Ronnie Dee. 6pm. $20 in advance, $24 day of show. Movies on the Lawn at Museum of Fine Arts: How The Grinch Stole Christmas & Gremlins
CinemaSquatch, Sunscreen Film Festival and indyoh present the DTSP Cinema Series. Several of these films will take place on the North Lawn at the MFA. Celebrate the holiday season under the stars with a double feature: How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) and Gremlins. Screenings run from 5-8pm. Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive Northeast.
