Webb’s City: The Musical at The Palladium (All Weekend)
A musical based on the life and times of J. E. “Doc” Webb, the colorful St. Petersburg entrepreneur called the “P.T. Barnum of Retail.” Written and directed by Bill Leavengood with music, lyrics and musical direction by Lee Ahlin about St. Pete’s famous drug store returns to the Palladium in a concert format. Here Comes the Sun: FREE September Yoga at Sundial
This Saturday, rise with the sun and the St. Pete yoga community at the Sundial. Rachel from The Body Electric Yoga Company will be leading the event. Rachel is bent on moving people both on and off the mat. Her teachings are accessible; based on smart, anatomical methods and rooted in energetic movement. She is playful, soulful and downright dedicated to teaching a class that makes you fall in love with yoga over and over again. All you need is a mat! Check in begins at 7:30am, yoga begins at 8am. Tocobaga Tribute Mural Reveal & Celebration at the Academy of Ballet Arts
Over the past 2 months, Daniel “R5” Barojas has been painting a mural in Historic Kenwood. The mural will be finished this Saturday. come and share in the reveal of this new addition to the thriving St. Pete mural scene. Music will be provided by Badda Skat throughout the entire event. Clothing Drive at The Body Electric Yoga Company
Get ready to go through your closets for the clothing drive this Saturday at The Body Electric Yoga Company. All women’s sizes and styles are welcome as they will be donated to The St.Pete Free Clinic Women’s Residence and in addition to those who have lost belongings to Hurricane Irma. The indie-pop act out of New York City, known for “I Wanna Get Better,” “Rollercoaster,” and “Don’t Take the Money,” makes its way to St. Pete.
