5th Annual St. Petersburg Fine Art Festival, February 24-25

The art festival transforms the grounds of South Straub Park into an outdoor gallery showcasing extraordinary original and handmade artwork. These artisans and their works weave a tapestry of art from creations in painting, glass, mixed-media, ceramics, sculpture, photography, metalwork, digital art, fiber art, woodworking – and more. Within each medium explore a diversity of styles, materials and creative vision. Know that many of these artisans are represented in America’s top museums and art galleries and their works found in the most prestigious private collections in America. Free admission. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

2nd Annual St. Pete French Fry Festival – Free Admission
Food trucks will be serving up Special French Fry Inspired dishes as well as offering their normal cuisine! Come by and try some new tastes while listening to the live band.  6-11p.m.

Saturday 2/17

#HonorwithAction Vigil and Rally
On Saturday, Feb. 17, a vigil will be held at Williams Park in honor of the 17 lives lost at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. It will be followed by a rally demanding action from our elected representatives to effect change addressing the crisis of gun violence and mass shootings in the country. Local leaders including the Mayor will be speaking at the event. The candlelight vigil begins at 5:30 p.m.

B.E. Barefoot Concert: Lobo Marino
An evening of intimate music and storytelling with Lobo Marino.
Named after the enormous Pacific Sea Lion, Lobo Marino’s brand of experimental folk draws from a rich palette of international and folk influences. Built primarily on harmonium, bass drum, banjo, and various unique instruments and voices, Lobo Marino continues to evolve as the musical response to the continuous travels and ongoing spiritual journey of its members, Laney Sullivan and Jameson Price.

Tampa Bay Rowdies presents the Suncoast Invitational 2018
The Tampa Bay Rowdies have invited some of Major League Soccer’s biggest stars to St. Petersburg, as they join the Rowdies to prepare for the 2018 season. The Rowdies Suncoast Invitational is one of the premier preseason tournaments in the country and will return to Al Lang Stadium for the third year in a row. The Rowdies Suncoast Invitational will feature two days of must-watch doubleheaders at Al Lang Stadium, with your Rowdies playing Major League Soccer teams. Begins at 5p.m.

The venue officially opens at 4p.m. with opening ceremonies set for 4:30pm. Kids for the Cure dashes kick-off at 5p.m. joined by Sparky the Fire Dog! The Sunset Survivor Walk will take place at approximately 6p.m. Enjoy entertainment, sponsor booths, VIPink Team Tailgate and more on Race Day. Have a team? Cruisin’ at the Capitol
Ride out to Clearwater for the 5th Annual Cruisin’ at the Cap Car Show! From 12 pm – 5 pm, reminisce over your favorite classic cars on display while enjoying an afternoon of free live music, food and drink vendors, and more! Located on the 300-400 blocks of Cleveland Street and Downtown Clearwater Waterfront in downtown Clearwater. 12-5p.m.
